Port uses Planning Center OAuth after you are signed in to Port.

Prerequisites

  • A Port account and active sign-in session
  • Planning Center permissions that allow authorizing Port for your organization

Connect During Onboarding

  1. Sign in to Port.
  2. Complete billing/onboarding steps.
  3. Click the Planning Center connect step.
  4. Authorize Port in Planning Center.
  5. Return to Port and confirm your organization is shown.

Connect or Reconnect From Settings

  1. Open Settings > General.
  2. Use the connect button if disconnected.
  3. Complete OAuth in Planning Center.
  4. Return to Port.

Refresh Organization

If your organization data is stale:
  1. Open Settings > General.
  2. Use Refresh Organization.
This action is admin-only in Port.

Disconnect

In Settings > General, you can disconnect Planning Center. After disconnecting:
  • Imports that require Planning Center API access will not run.
  • Reconnect before starting a new import.

Common Issues

  • If OAuth fails, retry from Settings and complete the full authorization flow.
  • If you changed org permissions in Planning Center, reconnect to refresh token scope.
