# EasyTithe

> Import approved gifts from an EasyTithe Transactions export

Choose **EasyTithe** for the Transactions export. Upload the original XLSX file or a CSV saved from its transaction sheet. Port reads the first worksheet.

## Required columns

* Date
* Donor
* Gross Gift
* Fund
* Status
* Payment Source
* Transaction Number
* Donor ID

Headers are case-insensitive. Keep these columns even if some donors have no ID or name.

## Optional columns

* Donor Address
* Donor Email
* Donor Phone
* Notes

Other export columns, including Batch ID, Recurring Gift, Frequency, and Donor Covers Fees, are ignored. Recurring Gift and Frequency describe the exported gift; they do not create recurring schedules in Planning Center.

## Import behavior

Port uses Gross Gift as the donation amount and Fund for fund mapping. The final row containing only a gross total is skipped.

Donor ID is the EasyTithe donor ID used for remote matching. It is not a Planning Center person ID. Donor names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses also support matching. The parser accepts the export's repeated spaces between street and city, along with ordinary comma-separated addresses. Incomplete addresses are preserved without guessing their missing parts.

EasyTithe's Payment Source column describes the payment method. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, Apple Pay, and GooglePay map to card; ACH maps to ACH. Choose the Planning Center payment source separately during setup.

Only transactions with Status **Approved** and non-negative amounts are supported. Other statuses and negative gifts stop the upload for correction. This provider does not infer refunds from this export format. Approved gifts default to tax deductible; review any non-deductible funds during fund mapping.

To copy Notes into Planning Center donation admin notes, enable the memo option on upload. Notes are omitted unless you opt in.
