# Fund Mapping

> Map imported fund names to Planning Center funds

Fund mapping is required before giving import processing can finish.

## What You See

* **Your funds:** distinct fund names detected from import rows
* **Planning Center funds:** funds available in your connected account
* **Excluded funds:** non-deductible/ignored funds not being imported as deductible donations

## Mapping Methods

### Magic Map

Attempts case-insensitive exact name matching between your funds and Planning Center fund names.

### Manual Mapping

Drag each fund from **Your funds** to a Planning Center fund.

### Saved Fund Mappings

You can save a mapping template and reapply it on future imports.

## Create, Rename, and Delete Funds

From the Planning Center funds panel, you can:

* Create one or many new funds
* Rename existing funds
* Delete existing funds

## Excluding Funds

Funds can be moved to **Excluded funds** when they should not import as deductible donations.

## Completion Requirement

The Next button becomes available when:

* All deductible funds are resolved (mapped or excluded), and
* At least one mapping to a Planning Center fund exists.
