# Connecting Planning Center

> How to connect or reconnect your Planning Center organization in Port

Port uses Planning Center OAuth after you are signed in to Port.

## Prerequisites

* A Port account and active sign-in session
* Planning Center permissions that allow authorizing Port for your organization

## Connect During Onboarding

1. Sign in to Port.
2. Complete billing/onboarding steps.
3. Click the Planning Center connect step.
4. Authorize Port in Planning Center.
5. Return to Port and confirm your organization is shown.

## Connect or Reconnect From Settings

1. Open **Settings > General**.
2. Use the connect button if disconnected.
3. Complete OAuth in Planning Center.
4. Return to Port.

## Refresh Organization

If your organization data is stale:

1. Open **Settings > General**.
2. Use **Refresh Organization**.

This action is admin-only in Port.

## Disconnect

In **Settings > General**, you can disconnect Planning Center. After disconnecting:

* Imports that require Planning Center API access will not run.
* Reconnect before starting a new import.

## Common Issues

* If OAuth fails, retry from Settings and complete the full authorization flow.
* If you changed org permissions in Planning Center, reconnect to refresh token scope.
